  • Sexual comments or jokes

  • Sexual requests or propositions

  • Indecent exposure

  • Attempting to touch Kumi inappropriately

  • Any threatening, abusive or aggressive behaviour

will result in the treatment ending immediately.

You will be required to leave the premises immediately. Serious incidents may be reported to the police, and you may be permanently refused future appointments.

Consultation

All new clients must complete a consultation form before their first treatment.

You are responsible for providing accurate and honest information regarding:

  • Medical conditions

  • Injuries

  • Allergies

  • Medication

  • Pregnancy

  • Any other relevant health information

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.

Booking & Payment

All appointments must be booked through the Fresha booking system.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure every booking.

The remaining 50% is payable through Fresha following your appointment.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

The booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or you fail to attend your appointment, the remaining 50% of the treatment cost will also be charged through Fresha.

Arrival

Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment.

Late arrival may reduce your treatment time so that following appointments are not affected.

Mobile Appointments

Mobile treatments are available for appointments of 60 minutes or longer.

A travel charge applies for visits within approximately 15 miles of Loftus. Please enquire for locations further away.

Clothing & Draping

Clients will always be professionally draped with towels throughout their treatment.

Only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

For Lymphatic Drainage Massage, treatment works close to private areas.

Women are recommended to wear bikini bottoms.

Men are recommended to wear briefs or speedos.

Disposable paper massage pants are available if required.

Massage oil is used during treatment and may transfer onto clothing or underwear. Please wear items you do not mind getting oil on.

During Your Massage

Your comfort is important.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable, emotional, or simply need a moment to compose yourself, please let Kumi know.

She can either:

  • Continue your treatment when you are ready, or

  • Leave the room to give you complete privacy before returning when you are comfortable.

You are encouraged to speak up at any time if:

  • The pressure is too firm or too light.

  • You are too warm or too cold.

  • You experience any discomfort.

Professional Boundaries

Any request for services outside professional massage therapy will be refused immediately.

Kumi reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment at any time if she believes the safety, comfort or professional standards of the appointment are compromised.

Client Health

Massage may not be suitable for everyone.

Certain medical conditions may require medical clearance before treatment.

If Kumi believes treatment may not be safe, she may postpone or refuse treatment in your best interests.

Confidentiality

All consultation forms and personal information are treated as confidential and stored securely in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

Your information will never be shared with third parties unless required by law.

Right to Refuse Treatment

Ikoi Massage reserves the right to refuse treatment where:

  • A client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • A client behaves inappropriately.

  • A client has failed to disclose relevant medical information.

  • Treatment is considered unsafe.

  • The therapist feels threatened, uncomfortable or believes professional boundaries are being crossed.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Policies.
